*** PRODUCTION BY BATCH CHARGES

When we have to face a changing production of several components of various quantities and batch sizes, we have the choice of which method to use.

Production by charges -Batch process-

Example: AUTOMATIC PILOT PLANT

  • Built by Fluieco and adapted to customer needs
  • Automatic and remote control, with manufacturing recipes

It is recommended in the following cases:

  • Many products, some unusual
  • Made with many ingredients, many of them in very small quantities
  • For product development phase
  • Very small productions or sporadic
  • Integrity and identification of total production batches

Advantages

  • Flexibility of production
  • Identification of the lot
  • Simplicity

Disadvantages

  • Space occupied
  • Effluents and waste
  • Cleaning process long and difficult
  • Difficulty of applying a scale factor

*** CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION

Example: PRODUCTION PLANT BUILT BY FLUIDECO FOR BODY LOTION

  • It combines seven ingredients at the same time to get the product

It is recommended in the following cases:

  • Well-defined product types and similar to each other
  • Single, unique and mass production
  • Manufacture of base products. Finishing of the end products
  • Intermediate and long production times
  • Short-live products or highly reactive

Advantages

  • Continuously measures the key parameters of quality
  • Production exactly conforms to the demand of the filler
  • Reduces the cost of raw materials for the system loads
  • Maintains a constant and consistent quality of the product
  • Occupying a minimal space in the production area
  • JUST IN TIME production
  • Closed system. Minimal risk of bacterial contamination
  • Maximum ease procedures SIP (sterilization in place) and CIP (clean in place)

*** SEMI-CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION

Example: DEODORANTS PRODUCTION PLANT BUILT BY FLUIDECO

Objectives

  • Combine colors and fragrances on a base product for charges
  • Minimizing waste produced in the change of recipe
  • Cut time stops and changes in the filler
  • Reducing the total time of manufacture

Benefits

  • Dosage just in front of the filler reduces the raw materials waste to fifth part
  • Flexible production by reducing the times of change in recipe
  • The production control is integrated into the filler
  • Increased production capacity
